Method

Peter Bethanis Sr.’s visual art is deeply informed by decades of architectural practice. Precision, structure, and exactness are central to both disciplines, and these qualities define his artwork.

Working primarily in graphite and colored pencil, his compositions are direct and highly visual. Nothing is left ambiguous. Details are resolved fully and deliberately, reflecting habits developed through years of architectural drafting. The emphasis is always on clarity rather than suggestion.

Concept & Study

Composition, proportion, and structure are established through precise drafting before refinement begins.

Development

Selected studies are refined through drawing and iteration.
Line, scale, and detail are resolved deliberately, without approximation.

Finished Work

Completed works are fully resolved and presented as individual pieces or curated sets.
Each drawing reflects the same attention to detail present throughout the process.
